Jeffrey Lane Hephner, better known as Jeff Hephner, is an American actor born onJune 22, 1975, in Sand Creek, Michigan. He notably played Matt Ramsey in season 3 of The O.C. and Morgan Stanley Buffkin in 2008 in the television series Easy Money.
His parents are Tom and Patti Hephner. Jeff Hephner grew up in the small town of Sand Creek, near Adrian, Michigan, where he graduated from Sand Creek High School. In high school, he played basketball and football. He was named to the All-State College team for the CD class during the 1993-1994 season.
He began his Hollywood career with small roles in two films: in 2000, in Tigerland, with Colin Farrell , and in Maid in Manhattan, alongside Jennifer Lopez. He had leading roles in two smaller films, The Underworld and About Your Watch, both released in 2002. After appearing in ten episodes of The Jury as “Keenan O’Brien,” he also appeared in a 2005 episode of Law & Order: Criminal IntentÂ
